Empowering Leadership Development

Overview

Phi Management has been partnering with a Governmental Entity in Saudi Arabia since 2023 to develop and tailor leadership programmes to seven groups of motivated individuals, promoting ongoing development and growth. Phi conducted multiple training needs analyses to adapt the programmes and enhance the talents and abilities of both individual contributors and first-line managers. The programmes focused on developing core leadership skills, cultivating collaboration, and equipping participants to address complex business challenges effectively, while considering the population, language barriers and skills. This multi-faceted approach aligns with the entity ‘s mission to build a strong talent pipeline and improve organisational performance.

The Execution

Phi Management gathered its team of designers and facilitators to tailor and deliver three distinct leadership programmes. The first two targeted individual contributors, while the third, was designed for first-line managers. These programmes employed a variety of scientific models and frameworks to provide participants with deep insights into self-awareness, communication, and teamwork. Modules on Interpersonal Dynamics, Growth Mindset, and Managing Challenging Conversations enhanced participants’ relational and communication skills. Meanwhile, topics such as Delegation and Empowerment, Team Building, and Problem-Solving equipped them to lead teams effectively and address workplace challenges. The programmes used experiential learning such as digital simulations and real-life scenarios to reinforce knowledge. Practical application through business case presentations, skills practice and feedback from the facilitator was emphasised to improve performance.

The Value

These leadership programmes have profoundly influenced participants. Individual contributors and first-line managers reported increased confidence, improved capabilities, and greater preparedness to take on professional challenges. Many participants noted significant career advancements and stronger contributions to their teams as a result of the skills and insights gained. This partnership has played a critical role in strengthening the organisation’s talent pipeline, cultivating innovation, and positioning it for continued success in an increasingly dynamic business environment.
